For more than 120 years, GMPBC has faithfully served as a source of spiritual guidance, compassion, and hope within the Rosedale community of Washington D.C. and beyond. Throughout its distinguished history, the ministry has remained firmly rooted in the authority of God’s Word and steadfast in its mission to glorify God by making disciples, strengthening families, and meeting the needs of others with Christian love.

The ministry is centered in weekly expository preaching, providing biblical instruction that is both theologically sound and practically relevant. In addition, comprehensive Bible classes for children, youth, and adults foster spiritual growth, biblical literacy, and discipleship, equipping believers to live faithfully and effectively share the Gospel.

Pisgah’s commitment to serving the community is demonstrated through a variety of outreach initiatives designed to address both spiritual and practical needs. Every 4^th Saturday food giveaways provide nourishment and encouragement to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.

In addition, Pisgah’s outreach assists women affected by domestic violence by providing support, encouragement, and access to resources that promote healing, restoration, and renewed hope. Recognizing the transformative power of education, the church is honored to invest in future generations by awarding annual college scholarships to deserving students. This ministry encourages academic achievement while supporting young men and women as they pursue higher education and prepare to become leaders in their communities and professions.

Beyond the local community, our ministry embraces Matthew 28:19-20 through active participation in international missionary work. By partnering with missionaries and ministries across the globe, we support evangelism, discipleship, church planting, humanitarian outreach, and leadership development, extending the message of Jesus Christ to people of every nation.
